PITCH YOUR STORY BY MARCH 8, 2020

We are seeking contributors for CreatedHere’s June issue – environmental.

Living so closely with the New Brunswick wild, we are acutely aware of natural crisis presented by climate change. So many of us are taking action to protect the environment by engaging in eco-friendly practices in our homes and in our studios. Many more are using visual mediums to promote environmental activism; encouraging protective action on the part of our leaders and citizens. These individual actions, when taken together, can be a tidal wave of social change. Let’s celebrate our engagement with our unique New Brunswick environment.

We are seeking:

• art with a message of environmental activism or protection
• art that expresses the emotional impact of climate change
• examples of eco-friendly practice or creative use of waste products
• art installed in nature or made of sustainably harvested materials

We are open to any and all ideas that creatively fit this theme. You do not need to be a writer to suggest a story.

Our submission process is available HERE. Your initial story pitch should be short and sweet and include images. Please read carefully through the instructions to ensure that you include everything we need to consider your work.

Anyone may submit – all mediums, genders, cultures, identities. All selected contributors will receive an honorarium of at least $80.
