Did you know CreatedHere also has a directory of artists and craftspeople that you can search by name, medium and region?

This past year I haven't focused a whole lot on the directory, what with getting the magazine off the ground and continuing to post stories online, so I've decided to give myself a goal to work toward. I have an Excel spreadsheet of over 300 names and I just want to share as many as I can with you!

I am launching a campaign called #100NBartists, where I will add 100 new artists, craftspeople and makers from New Brunswick  to the CreatedHere directory in 2017.

I won't be able to visit each one, but I will share photos and a bit about who they are. I'll try to include as many as possible in future issues of CreatedHere magazine so you can get to know them more!

As of December 31st, 2016, the CreatedHere directory held 71 names. My goal is to add 100 more, which means about two per week. Easy peasy, you say? I will do it while parenting three children (five, three and one years old) AND producing a print magazine. It will be like in juggling, when someone throws you an extra ball... while swimming.

But, I love it all so let's do it!

#1 - Glenn Hall

Glenn Hall is a visual artist and nature lover. He built a cabin on the Kingston Peninsula that is totally off-the-grid, reclaims rain water and uses solar power. He talks about it as his greatest work of art. His paintings are pretty good too.
